Two days into our Glacier trip my boyfriend and I found ourselves sitting at a beautiful bar called the Taproom attached to the Belton restaurant. We were chatting with the bartender when a couple walked up and asked her about the spa treatments available at the Belton Chalet. My boyfriend’s interest was immediate. If you were to meet him, you would not think he was the spa going type, even the bartender thought he was joking (maybe it was the camouflage jacket he was wearing, I don’t know). Once the couple made their reservation over the phone, they handed the phone over to my boyfriend who set up an appointment for both of us two days later. Unfortunately they could not take us at the same time so we had back to back appointments, which was fitting since we both opted for back massages. Wondering what I was going to do while I waited during my boyfriend’s appointment, the bartender suggested I hang out at the Taproom, have a few beers and start the relaxation process early. Sounded like a pretty great idea!

Two days past and it was time for our appointments. I let my boyfriend go first and headed down to the Taproom. I walked in and had the place to myself. The bartender was the same lady from before and we continued our contestation from where we left it a few days ago. A quick hour later and it was time for my treatment. I walked up to the building behind the restaurant and bar where the day spa was. I waited a few minutes and the massage therapist came to get me. She took me to the massage room and told me to dress down to my comfort level and select out a scented massage cream. Once all that was squared away she returned back to the room and began my treatment.

It was a nice addition to our Glacier trip for about $90 each. Once my full body massage was over I gathered up my belongings and met my boyfriend back at the Taproom. We decided to eat dinner there, ordering from the full restaurant menu. Our meal of two steak dinners and just a few beers totaled about $100. The meal was delightful and well needed on our fun day of relaxation.
